Unbounce provides a straightforward integration with AWeber that allows you to send leads captured with an Unbounce form on to your AWeber list. The basic integration currently lets you capture name and email fields only. If you are looking for the ability to capture all of your custom fields, please check out our advanced AWeber integration article.

Step 1: Add the integration to your Unbounce page

  1. Navigate to your page overview screen while logged-in to Unbounce
  2. In the "Leads & Form Integrations" section at the bottom, select "Send my Leads to AWeber":

  3. If you haven't authenticated Unbounce with AWeber before, you'll be presented with an AWeber login screen. Unbounce never sees your login details here, so there's nothing to worry about!

  4. If your authentication is successful, you'll be presented with all of your AWeber lists. Choose the one that you want to send your leads to, and push "Complete":

  5. That's all there is to adding the integration on Unbounce's side. The last step is to add the Email Parser to your list in AWeber which we'll cover in the next step.

Step 2: Add the Email Parser to your list in AWeber

  1. Log into your AWeber account at www.aweber.com
  2. Select the list you integrated with Unbounce in the steps above, and then choose "Email Parser" in the My Lists dropdown:

  3. Now scroll down to the "Lead Services" category and check the box next to "Unbounce Form Submission":

That's it, you're all set!

Once both your Unbounce page is integrated, and you've added the AWeber email parser to your list, you're ready to start capturing the name and email of leads on your Unbounce page.

Want to capture more than just 'name' and 'email' from your leads?

By default, our integration will only pass along the lead's email and their name (if we detect one). There's a good chance you'll want to pass along more values from your form, or additionally, you might want to pass along your page ID (which looks like this: 1bcd2d72-4eba-11e0-8392-00254bc57f26) and variant ID (A, B, C, etc..) so that you can segment your lists in AWeber. We'll be extending the possibilities of this integration as AWeber expands the functionality of their API, but if you just can't wait, and want to do this now, check out our instructions for hooking up an advanced integration between Unbounce and AWeber...

@Pera and @Cary, have you guys tested with your own emails?  Our AWeber integration requires a double-optin.  Ie., someone who signs up will be sent an email which they have to click on to confirm their subscription.
