Publishing your Page
To publish your page and send it live for the world to see, click the green Publish Page button at the top of right of your page's overview screen. The page will be published to the URL shown on this screen.
You can use your own domain and can always change/edit your page's URL.

Republishing Your Page
When you make changes to your page, Unbounce will store those changes until you are ready to send them live. Click Republish Page to update the live version of your page. You will see the green Republish Page button if there are unpublished changes.

Unpublishing Your Page:
To take your page down and make it unavailable online, it needs to be unpublished. To unpublish your page, ppen the cog menu in the top right of your page's overview screen and click Unpublish Page.
Once unpublished, your page is no longer accessible online.

Unbounce pages will publish to an automatically generated URL but it is strongly advised that your publish your pages to your own domain if you are running a campaign. You must use a custom domain if you will be running traffic through Google AdWords and search engines will only index pages that are published to a custom domain.
Unbounce allows you to configure your landing pages to appear at your own custom domain. For specific instructions, see the Unbounce Answers article How Do I Setup my Custom Domain [VIDEO].

What about the "@" record (in Godaddy, for example)? I've got the custom CNAME record set up for the "www" and it works, but if I go to the non "www" version of the page, I get a Godaddy parked page. When I try to edit the @ record - say changing it to point to "www" or "unbouncepages.com", I get an error - it requires an IP address.
I have the same question, I'd like to have my landing page appear when a user navigates to the non www form of my URL
II think you go into your domains A record add www as host and have it point to your main page IP address.
Hello Alastair! Setting up an A Record for 'www' and a CNAME for 'www' actually creates a conflict. In this case, the A Record takes precedent and your CNAME would not function properly. Most hosting providers actually don't allow you to have an A Record and a CNAME for the same value for this reason. Often, when a CNAME is set up properly but does not seem to function, checking that there's no A Record for the same value is a great first step.
For Ben and William, I believe they're hoping to have a landing page appear at theirdomain.com rather than just www.theirdomain.com. To do this, you actually set up a 301 redirect telling visitors who go to theirdomain.com to be redirected to www.theirdomain.com. We have more information on this top at http://support.unbounce.com/entries/307687-how-can-i-use-a-naked-do....
Hi Ryan,
Do you need a host to do this or simply just having a registered domain is enough? I am using GoDaddy.
Hello John - that's a good question. You shouldn't need hosting to make these changes. So long as you've registered your domain with GoDaddy, you should be able to edit that domain's DNS.
If you take a look at our article on setting up a CNAME with GoDaddy at http://support.unbounce.com/entries/261051-go-daddy-godaddy-com and find you can't make the necessary changes, you may need to contact GoDaddy about your domain.
If you are still experiencing difficulties, send me an email to support@unbounce.com.
I want to use Unbounce to manage versions of my homepage. If I have my domain pointing to Unbounce, though, how do I ensure the other pages on my website (self-hosted on WordPress) are found on my domain as well?
Hi Bruce - Since it's the subdomain that controls where the pages your site displays are found, a subdomain can only show pages hosted in one place.
For example, if your website is at
www.cheapelephants.comthen thewwwsubdomain is used to display the pages hosted on your servers. That's all it can do.In order to use the same domain with Unbounce, you must use a custom subdomain. In that case, something like
promos, as inpromos.cheapelephants.com, would work.We have more information available in our article All About URLs and CNAMEs but if you have any specific questions, you are always welcome to submit a support ticket.
I should add that Unbounce isn't really designed to A/B test specific pages of your existing website. Even if you tried the closest possible workaround, embedding your Unbounce page into an iframe on your site, you would prevent Unbounce's conversion tracking from working right which would negate the whole point of A/B testing.
Thanks, Ryan. What I think I hear you saying is that you can't use Unbounce to test your homepage. This is disappointing and seems like a fundamental limitation.
Sure thing Bruce. Our focus in on landing page optimization primarily for PPC, social media and email marketing but we appreciate your feedback. If you ever have any feature requests, we'd love for you to share them in our community forum. Feedback like yours lets our team know which features the community would like to see which in turn helps guide product development.
How quickly should my new Unbounce page publish? The CNAME settings are correct, but when I go to the link I get a "page doesn't exist" screen.
Hi Hubert - if the settings are configured properly then it might just be that the URL your page is published to is different than the one you're checking. Can you have a look? Just shoot us an email with the URL for the page in question if that doesn't seem to be the case.
