08 Duplicating a Page

You can duplicate any of your Unbounce pages at any time. To do this, access the Pages tab which will display a list of your Unbounce pages. Then access the gear menu of the page you want to duplicate and select Duplicate Page.

Select the Page Variants and features that you would like to duplicate using the checkboxes in the ‘Duplicate’ dialog window. Click ‘Duplicate Page’ and the the new page will appear in the Pages tab along with all your other pages.

Once the new page has been created it is completely independent from the original and can be edited and modified just like any other Unbounce page.

Just what I wanted to do. No reason to recreate a successful, working page from scratch ever again.  Thanks for listening Unbounce!

I don't understand how to create the "A" page using our existing landing page (www. wisdomrewards.com). The "Start with a copy of your existing page" is not showing up for me.

Is there anyway to copy an existing website page, NOT one created in unbounce. Would Copying the html and css do the trick?

Hi Dave - Unfortunately we do not have the ability to import pages built outside of Unbounce.  You can try copying the HTML but it's not what the Custom HTML widget is meant for so we are unable to guarantee that it would work.  If you don't mind losing the stats but want to split test with your existing page, you could always embed your existing page in an iframe.  There are downsides to this method but it might help you achieve what you are hoping to do.

Hi, is it possible to copy just a component of a page?  e.g.  I've built a form - I want to copy only the form to a new page.  Cheers!

Hi Terri - we're currently looking into a solution for shared scripts/widgets between pages so for now, you can't copy a component from one page to another but it's on our radar.

I have two custom domains.  I would like to duplicate a page I've created in CustomDomain1 and copy it to CustomDomain2.  Is that possible, and how do I do it?

Hi Danny - as long as you have both custom domains fully set up in your Ubounce account, you can definitely do this. First you will want to go ahead and duplicate the page just as described in this article, on the 'Pages' tab of your Unbounce account. Once you have done that, you will want to access the Page Overview screen (where you usually see the AB Test center for each page) for the new copy of the page and change the custom domain that is used with this page by clicking the 'Change URL' button near the top of this screen. Essentially you will be able to change what custom domain you are using with this duplicate page by changing the display URL as described in this Unbounce Answers page: http://support.unbounce.com/entries/20316578-how-do-i-set-up-my-cus...

I hope that helps!

I am using the Calendar script in a text field that has field mapping set up to go to a Zoho database.  For some reason, when I duplicate a page, this one field never seems to capture correctly in Zoho on the duplicate page. Unbounce captures the field just fine, but it never makes it to Zoho even though it did in the original page and nothing has changed. Any ideas what the issue is? Is there a problem with Custom Field Mapping and Duplications?

Hi Kimm - Not so far as we're aware.  Could you email support@unbounce.com with the URL for the original page so we can have a look?
